David Rennie (columnist)

David Rennie (born 1971)[1] is a British journalist. He is a columnist for The Economist, where he writes the Bagehot column. [2] Before that he used to write the Charlemagne column (focusing on the European Union).[3] He previously worked for The Daily Telegraph and the Evening Standard. He is the son of Sir John Rennie, a former 'C' (i.e., Director) of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6).[4]
