David Stuart Walker [3](born 30 May 1957) is the current Bishop of Dudley. He was educated at Manchester Grammar School, competing in the International Mathematical Olympiad in 1975,[4] and King's College, Cambridge.[5] After a period of study at Queen's College, Birmingham he was ordained in 1983.[6] His career began with a curacy at St Mary Handsworth[disambiguation needed ],[7] after which he was Team Vicar at Maltby[disambiguation needed ], then Bramley[disambiguation needed ] before elevation to the Episcopate. A keen hill walker,[8] Bishop David is married to Sue, with two children.
