Dhaka Courier is a Bangladeshi English language weekly newsmagazine. In publication since 1984, it is the longest-running English newsmagazine in Bangladesh and has a readership of 12,000 people, mostly among the urban elite and expatriate community of the country.[1] The magazine is part of the Cosmos Group, which also contains other subsidiaries in the media, notably United News Bangladesh (UNB), the oldest private-run news agency in Bangladesh.

Dhaka Courier has been noted for its sharp focus on Bangladesh's political culture and human rights situation. It has attracted leading South Asian columnists, including Kuldip Nayar, Khushwant Singh, Hassan Askari Rizvi, Syed Badrul Ahsan, Muhammad Zamir, Raana Haider and Achintya Sen, among others, to contribute to its content. Bangladeshi businessman Enayetullah Khan is the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, and in July 2009, Shayan S. Khan succeeded Rowshan Zaman as Managing Editor. The editorial board also consists of Afsan Chowdhury and Naushad Reza.[2]
