Diafarabé is a village in the Cercle of Tenenkou in the Mopti Region of southern-central Mali. It lies on the Niger River. Every year in late November thousands of head of cattle are shepherded across the river in the Traversée Des Animaux^[1] which is an important festival for Diafarabé.
