Din Daa Daa (song)

"Din Daa Daa" is 1983 single by George Kranz. The single spent two weeks at number one on the Dance Club Play chart in the U.S. in January 1984.[1] In 1991, Kranz re-released "Din Daa Daa", this time featuring vocals by Doug Lazy, and it peaked at number eight on the dance chart.

Cover versions

  • In 1997, Kevin Aviance remade the song and it became his first of two number-one dance hits. [2]
  • In 2004, The Roots covered the song as a hidden bonus track on their album " The Tipping Point".
  • In 2005, the song was sampled by The Ying Yang Twins and Pitbull for their single "Shake."
