Not to be confused with his older brother, also called Ding Feng (丁奉), but with style name Chengyuan (承淵).

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Ding.

Ding Feng was a military general of Eastern Wu during the late Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. He had an older brother, who was also named Ding Feng (丁奉), but with the style name Chengyuan (承淵). The Chinese characters for "Feng" in their names are also different. The younger Ding Feng was appointed Rear General of Eastern Wu. He died before his older brother.

In fiction

In Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, when Zhuge Zhan were under attack by Deng Ai's forces at Mianzhu Pass during the campaign against Shu Han, he requested reinforcements from Eastern Wu. Ding Feng (Chengyuan) was assigned to lead an army to assist Zhuge, with Ding Feng (younger) and Sun Yi (孫異) serving as his deputy generals. They retreated after the Shu Han emperor Liu Shan surrendered to Deng Ai.
