Disney Junior India is the block that replaced India's Playhouse Disney block. Disney Junior India serves as a block on Disney Channel India. The program debuted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 4, 2011 on Disney Channel. The programming telecasts in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Disney Junior was formerly called Playhouse Disney and was a preschool-programming block that launched in India in 2006. It roadcast on Disney channel. It was broadcast in Hindi and English, and ran on Disney Channel India from July 1st 2011. On July 4th, it got replaced with Disney Junior. Playhouse Disney India re branded as Disney Jr. India from July 4, 2011. Playhouse Disney USA had already re-branded as Disney Junior in February 2011. India will be one of the first countries that will be re-branding their old preschool block, Playhouse Disney. Disney Junior India started on July 4, 2011 and promises to more programs into its block.
