Jon Pertwee continues his role as The Third Doctor. While Jo Grant played by Katy Manning makes her final appearance in The Green Death.

Guest stars

Previous Doctor's William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton return to play The First Doctor and The Second Doctor, Patrick Troughton would later appear twice more in the series in The Five Doctors and The Two Doctors

Nicholas Courtney continues his role of the Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart.
