Dovid Schustal

Dovid Tzvi Schustal (Hebrew: דוד צבי שוסטל‎) is an Orthodox rabbi and one of the four roshei yeshiva (deans) of Beth Medrash Govoha (the Lakewood Yeshiva) in Lakewood, New Jersey. He shares this post with Rabbi Malkiel Kotler, Rabbi Yerucham Olshin, and Rabbi Yisroel Neuman.^[1][2]

Schustal is the son-in-law of the previous rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha, Rabbi Shneur Kotler,^[3] who was the son of the founding rosh yeshiva, Rabbi Aharon Kotler. Schustal's father is Rabbi Eliyahu Simcha Schustal, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Bais Binyomin in Stamford, Connecticut, who is one of the elder roshei yeshiva in the United States.^[4]
