Dream This was the debut album from Los Angeles band Joe 90 (formally Gods Child). Signed by Adam Duritz of Counting Crows label E Pluribus Unum through Geffen, their first single, "Drive", (featuring Duritz on counter lead vocals) garnered major radio airplay across the country and was featured in the second season of HBO hit series Six Feet Under. Song "Cars Go By" was the end title to 1999 New Line Cinema movie Body Shots.

Rolling Stone had this to say: "Singer-guitarist Chris Seefried steers along melodically facile, softly yelping rockers like 'Mascara' and 'Drive' - the album's showstopper - with velvety imprecision."[2]

The cover painting was commissioned from artist Kim Whitesides. This image was originally used in an issue of Playboy men's magazine in 1969.
