Sophie Antoinette of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (13/23 January 1724, Wolfenbüttel – 17 May 1802, Coburg)^[1] was the tenth of 17 children of Ferdinand Albert II, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg.

Marriage

She married Ernest Frederick, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld on 23 April 1749 at Wolfenbüttel.^[1] Among her notable great-grandchildren were Prince Albert, Queen Victoria, Ferdinand II of Portugal, Empress Carlota of Mexico and Leopold II of Belgium.
