Malian passport

Malian passports are issued to citizen of Mali to travel outside of the country. It is the only primarily proof for international travel. It can also be used for identification in national registration card or drivers license. It is also the primary proof for citizenship. [1]

Types

There are three types of passports which are issue able to citizen of Mali however every single type has different eligibility criteria types as follows. [2]

  • Ordinary passport
  • Official passport
  • Diplomatic passport

Requirement for passport application

An applicant will be required given below supporting documents in order to get his or her new Malian passport along with payment of fees. [3]

  • Birth certificate
  • Certificates of identity
  • Proof of citizenship
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Self addressed stamped envelope

Passport cover

Malian passports are dark brown in color, with the words Republic of Mali inscribed on top of the booklet. The Malian coat of arms is prominently emblazoned in the center of the cover page, followed on the bottom by the inscription of the word PASSEPORT on ordinary passports.[5]
