Proliferating trichilemmal cyst

Proliferating trichilemmal cysts (also known as a "Pilar tumor,"^[1] "Proliferating follicular cystic neoplasm,"^[1], "Proliferating pilar tumor,"^[1] and "Proliferating trichilemmal tumor"^[1]) are a cutaneous condition characterized by proliferations of squamous cells forming scroll-like structures.^[2]:678[1]
