Malik Balkha Khilji

Malik Balkha Khilji, also known as Dawlat Shah bin Maudud, was the son of Ghiyasuddin Iwaj Shah. After the death of prince Nasiruddin Mahmud, he captured the throne of Bengal. Malik styled himself as the independent ruler of Bengal. But Sultan Shamsuddin Iltutmish once again invaded Bengal during his reign and removed Malik from power.
