Mark Adam Creighton (born 8 October 1981) is an English footballer who plays for Wrexham as a defender.

Career

Mark Creighton began his career at Kidderminster Harriers before spending a number of years moving between non-league, amateur clubs in the Midlands such as Moor Green, Paget Rangers and Halesowen Town.[2]

He eventually ended up at Redditch United where he became captain and won numerous awards. His success at Redditch meant that he managed to seal a return to the Harriers, whom he eventually captained.[3]

After two seasons at Aggborough, in May 2009 Creighton joined Oxford United, where he became a regular starter and became affectionately known as 'The Beast'. In 2010 he helped Oxford gain promotion out of the Conference and into League Two.[4]

In November 2010, Creighton went out on loan to Conference side Wrexham[5] where, after a successful loan spell, he signed an 18-month contract. Wrexham fans have also nicknamed him The Beast.
