Virginia Gregg Burket (March 6, 1916 – September 15, 1986) was an American actress.

Gregg was born in Harrisburg, Illinois, the daughter of Dewey Alphaleta (née Todd), a musician, and Edward William Gregg, a businessman. She made three appearances on the TV series Alfred Hitchcock Presents. She also made an appearance in "The Twilight Zone" episode "The Masks" (1964) as 'Emily'.

She is best known for her voice acting in the role of Norman Bates' mother in the movie "Psycho". (She did the voice in the sequels "Psycho II" and "Psycho III" as well). Gregg died from lung cancer in Encino, California.

Gregg was one of the core of a dozen actors and actresses in the "Dragnet" company, Jack Webb utilized her in dozens of roles on both radio and TV versions of the show as well as the "Dragnet" 1954 movie where she played the role of Evelyn Starkie, wife of the murder victim in one of her most emotional and convincing roles. She also starred as "Miss Wong" on the radio series version of "Have Gun, Will Travel".
