Mary Wiltenburg

Mary Wiltenburg (born July 6, 1976 in Rochester, New York) is an award-winning print and multimedia reporter based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the author and producer of The Christian Science Monitor project "Little Bill Clinton: A School Year in the life of a New American," which industry watchers say "could change storytelling for newspapers."^[1]

She has reported on environmental battles, US Army deserters, the aftermath of genocide and more, from datelines across the United States, Rwanda, Kazakhstan,^[2] and Germany.^[3][4] Her work has appeared in Der Spiegel, The Boston Globe Magazine, and Grist Magazine, and on Nightline, This American Life, and Morning Edition. A graduate of Swarthmore College, she is the daughter of Candace O'Connor and the niece of Kyrie O'Connor.
