Maxxsonics USA, Inc. is a manufacturer of home and mobile audio equipment which was founded in 2001. They are over the brand names Hifonics, Autotek, MB Quart and Crunch. ^[1] MB Quart Entertainment was a separate German company which Maxxsonics acquired in 2005. ^[2] Also in 2005, Maxxsonics bought the California-based company Autotek. ^[3]

XX Maxximus

A Class D amplifier under their Hifonics brand rated at 10,000 watts RMS when bridged into 2 ohms. Like many other models, this amp is actually two amplifiers in one heat sink; a similar Hifonics amp was banned from an audio drag for this reason. ^[4]
