Methylacetylene-propadiene gas

Methylacetylene-propadiene (MPS) gas is a type of fuel gas used in oxy-fuel welding and cutting torches. The most commonly known type of MPS gas is MAPP gas.[1]

It has a chemical compound of CH3C:CH. The fuel burns hotter than propane or natural gas. It also has better heat distribution than acetylene.[2]
