Mian Muhammad Azhar

Mian Muhammad Azhar is the Pakistani Political Leader, former governor of Punjab and founder of PML-Q,[1] where he remained its President until he took a backseat in Pakistani politics. Azhar was mayor of the metropolitan corporation Lahore from 1987-1991. He remained the governor of Pakistan's largest province of Punjab from 1990 to 1992.He belongs from famous and powerful cast of Arain.

He left PML-N on differences with Nawaz Sharif, he joined Imran Khan led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, he was awarded as Sr.Leader of Punjab for the party.The announcement was made in a special event held at Mian Azhar’s residence in Lahore.PTI chairman Imran Khan, while welcoming Mian Azhar as the new member of his party said the PTI has accomplished a great victory in Punjab today.
