Michael Sands
Born: Boston, Massachusetts December 14th 1945Background information Michael Sands (December 14, 1945) is a former fashion print model[1] and actor,[2] turned media consultant,[3] representing clients such as President Reagan's son Michael Reagan,[4] fashion guru Mr. Blackwell,[5] Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Kristy Swanson[6] and Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline.[7] Sands has acted in various roles, including in the Dennis DeYoung Music Video "Don't Wait for Heroes", and frequently discusses celebrity images in the national media.[8][9][10][11] Through producing CelebrityDoctor.co in the late 1990s, Sands pioneered the trend for live TV/web screenings of face-lifts, most famously with Arabella Churchill.[12][13]
Sands told Fox News that the death of publicist Ronni Chasen sounded like a "hired hit job".[14] When his client, the screenwriter Gary DeVore (screenwriter) went missing in 1997, Sands pushed the investigators to consider that DeVore had been involved with the intelligence services and that his fate was somehow connected with this role. DeVore's body was finally found submerged in the Californian aqueduct - an apparent accident - and the tip-off came directly to Sands' office.[15] Sands is an approved Department of Defense contractor[citation needed] and has worked closely with the government security services handling the entertainment industry. In 2011 he was approached by the Utah family of Wassef Ali Hassoun over a $1m book and movie deal about the Marine corporal charged with desertion who allegedly faked his own kidnapping in Iraq.[16][17][18]
