Its releases are not confined to any particular genre, though most fall within the punk/hardcore genre and also socially/politically conscious bands. A majority of releases are on vinyl. Most notably, Mightier Than Sword has released two Blink 182[2] records on vinyl, along with The Ataris[3], The Juliana Theory[4], and more.
Recently Mightier Than Sword Records signed Latin For Truth.[5]
After the earthquake in Haiti, Mightier Than Sword Records teamed up with its sister label Academy Fight Song to auction off vinyl test pressings with all proceeds going to Haiti relief[6] and the Red Cross. Copeland, Person L, and Kevin Devine records were put on Ebay for the benefit. Other vinyl based labels participated including Paper + Plastick Records.[7]Discography
