Mike Sullivan is an American-born Canadian politician, who was elected to represent the riding of York South—Weston in the 2011 election.[3] He is a member of the New Democratic Party.

Early years

Sullivan was born in the United States but grew up in Windsor, Ontario.

Before politics

Sullivan graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973. From February 1974 to November 1984, Sullivan worked for CBC where he was radio master control operator. Since November 1984, Sullivan has been a national representative for Communications Energy and Paperworkers where he worked with Sun Media and Torstar newspapers.
