Millennium Cohort Family Study

The Millennium Cohort Family Study is a sub-study of the Millennium Cohort Study (United States) - a US Department of Defense-sponsored project being conducted to evaluate the long-term effects of military service members and their families[1][2]. Investigators that conduct the Millennium Cohort Study include uniformed and non-uniformed scientists from the Army, Navy,[3] Air Force, and academic institutions.

Purpose

The Millennium Cohort Family Study is designed to gain a more complete understanding of the military experience and its resultant impact on the health and well-being of service members and their families. The Family Study will also explore the impact of relationship quality on the physical and psychological health of service members, their spouses and children with the goal to create effective interventions and support mechanisms.
