Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change (Greece)

The Minister for the Environment, Energy and Climate Change (Greek: Υπουργός Περιβάλλοντος, Ενέργειας και Κλιματικής Αλλαγής) is a government minister of Greece responsible for the running of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change. The post was created on 7 October 2009, following the electoral victory of the Panhellenic Socialist Movement on 4 October, from the former Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works. The current minister is Giorgos Papakonstantinou.
