Minnesota Machine Founded 2009 League Women's Football Alliance Team history WFA (2009-Present) Stadium Einer Anderson Field Based in Minnetonka, Minnesota Team colors Orange, Black, Grey Championships 0 Division titles 2 The Minnesota Machine is a women's full tackle American football team based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. They play in the Women's Football Alliance and start play in 2009, their inaugural season. In 2010 the Minnesota Machine had to end the playoff contest with the Iowa Thunder because of a severe lightning storm that started at half time. The Minnesota Machine had just ran in for a touchdown and kicked an extra point when the officials temporarily called the game. After 1 hour and 15 minutes of the game being on hold owner, Lisa Olson conceded to Iowa therefore losing 20-12.
