Miroslav Šmajda (born 27 November 1988 in Košice, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak male singer, most notable for his participation on the Česko Slovenská Superstar (based on UK Pop Idol), being ranked on the second place.

Eurovision

On 16 November 2011, it was announced by Rozhlas a televízia Slovenska (RTVS), that Šmajda will represent Slovakia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.[1][2]
