Mohammed Asrarullah Hussaini

Mohammed Asrarullah Hussaini, also known as Imam Ali Shah (Rehmat-Allahi-Alaih)(1856 - 1920) was a great sufi saint who migrated from Damascus, Syria to Berar Province now in Maharashtra, India, and then to Hyderabad Deccan at the age of 18.
He was a descendant of the Islamic prophet Mohammed

He was the imam of Masjid-e-Baghdadi also known as Tek-ki-Masjid which stands still in Nampally, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.
His dargah or shrine is in the same Masjid.

The Annual Urs takes place on 4th Jumada al-thani every year of the Islamic calendar.

Famous Saint from his time is Hadarât Imam Ahmed Rida Khan (rehmat-allahi-alaih) of Bareilly, India.

One of the famous incident which occurred in his lifetime is that once there was gathering inside the masjid on the night of Milad-un-Nabi, someone asked the imam about the prophet's ascension to heaven with the body or only his soul was taken. The imam immediately passed through the wall of the masjid and went the other side and came back and told the gathering that when he being the servant of the prophet can pass through a wall without any difficulty then why can't Muhammad, Imams of the Prophets, ascend to the heavens with his holy Body.
