Rajshahi Rangers (often abbreviated as RR) is the franchise representing Rajshahi in the Bangladesh NCL (National Cricket League) Twenty20, a Twenty20 cricket tournament. The team is led by Khaled Mashud. Naeem Islam is the team's Icon Player. The official colors are grey, black, and red. The team also has three players who are iconic. In Sultans of Sylhet it is bowler Suhrawadi Shuvo who has been on the Bangladesh national team once against England. Also the bowler Shafiul Islam who has been doing some superb bowling. And also the opening batsman Junaid Siddique. They are owned by AN Group, a An industrial group in Bangladesh that does knitting.

2009/10 Season

On the 11 of April, The Rangers started with victory on their first match against Cyclones of Chittagong for the opening match at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium where they won by 6 wickets with seventeen balls to spare. Mukhtar Ali was awarded man of the match taking 3 wickets for 22 runs. This Rangers had started their tournament on a high.

On the 12 of April, Rajshahi was playing against Kings of Khulna for their second match at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan No 2 Ground in Savar. They had a great victory by 36 runs. Mukhtar Ali was given his second the man of the match award earning a five wicket haul for only 21 runs.

On the 13 April, the Rangers played Barisal Blazers at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. They lost by 7 wickets with 23 balls remaining on that day. Mahmudul Hasan was given the man on the match award for picking up 3 wickets for 16 run.

On the 15 of April, for their fourth match at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Dhaka they were to play Sultans of Sylhet. Sylhet won the match by 26 runs. Mohammad Fariduddin from Sultans of Sylhet got the man of the match award for getting 3 wickets for 25 runs.

On the 17 of April, Rajshahi eased a lost a terrible match over Dhaka Dynamites at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium. Dhaka won by 8 wickets with 30 balls left. Shahadat Hossain from Dhaka Dynamites got his man of the match award getting 2 wickets for 13 runs.

Dhaka Dynamites finished fourth of the table.

On the 19 of April, The Rangers had to play Dhaka Dynamites in the quarter finals after they lost to them in their previous match Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium. They won by 12 runs in the end. The man of the match was Naeem Islam for an allround performance scoring 31 off 31 balls. Rajshahi had made it to the finals.

On the 20 of April was the final of the ncl t20. Rajshahi were to play Kings of Khulna.The match was tense with one wicket to Khulna on the final over Rajshahi bowled Khulna all out to win the tournament. The man of the match was Qaiser Abbas scoring 61 runs off 63 balls
