Rodney Allen Rippy

Rodney Allen Rippy (b. July 29, 1968) is a former child actor who appeared in Jack in the Box commercials of the 1970s. In the spots, he was seen trying to wrap his kid-sized mouth around the super-sized Jumbo Jack hamburger. His catch phrase was, "It's too big to eat!" (pronounced "It's too big-a-eat!")

Rodney made his big screen debut in the Mel Brooks classic comedy "Blazing Saddles" in 1974. He portrayed a young Sheriff Bart aboard his parent's buckboard wagon after a brutal Sioux nation attack. When the chief, portrayed by Brooks, allows the pioneers passage (for being darker than they were), Rodney says his only line, "Thank you." In the same year, he starred on the CBS Saturday morning show The Harlem Globetrotters Popcorn Machine.

A graduate of California State University, Dominguez Hills (Carson, California), Rippy is a partner in the film production company, Bow Tie Productions, and spokesman for Hurricane Housing Relief.

Rippy also appeared in the 1997 independent film "Former Child Star" and the 2003 David Spade comedy "".

Rippy was mentioned by the character Snoopy in the comic strip "Peanuts" in 1974.Fact|date=March 2008
