The Mountain Combat Boot (MCB) is a durable, hiking-style mountain combat boot used by soldiers in the United States Army. The boot is designed for rugged terrain and has the ankle stability, support and mobility required in a mountainous environment. The Mountain Combat Boot is issued to troops deploying to Afghanistan as part of the Rapid Fielding Initiative process.
