"Move It Like This" is by the Bahamian pop group Baha Men. Released in 2002, it reached number 13 on the New Zealand RIANZ list, number 13 on the Canadian Singles Chart and number 65 on the Swiss Music Charts. It was on the bands 7th studio album Move It Like This.

"Move It Like This" is one of Baha Men's most successful songs and is their second most purchased song on iTunes as of July, 2009, only behind "Who Let the Dogs Out?".

Popular culture

The song was featured in the 2002 comedy film Big Fat Liar, starring Frankie Muniz, Paul Giamatti and Amanda Bynes.[5] It was also featured in the video game Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball[6] as well as in an NBA commercial.[7]

Critical reception

The song received mixed reviews. musicOMH said of it, "Try to remember this song and you'll remember...nothing original."[8] Conversely, Scott Tady of the Beaver County Times called the song jubilant and Rebecca Mahoney of the Lakeland Ledger referred to it as energetic.[7][9]
