The Museums at the Crossroads Consortium is a group of museums in Champaign County, Illinois, that collaborate to raise awareness about their respective institutions, on public programs, education, and outreach. Current members in the consortium include: the Spurlock Museum, the Octave Chanute Aerospace Museum, the Parkland College Art Gallery, the Sousa Archives and Center for American Music the Orpheum Children's Science Museum, the William M. Staerkel Planetarium, the Anita Purves Nature Center, the Early American Museum, the Champaign County Historical Museum, and the Krannert Art Museum and Kinkead Pavilion. [1] Projects of the consortium include producing educators' resource guides, brochures, banners and collaborations for special events.
