Northeast Kings Education Centre (NKEC), is a high school that opened in September 2001. It is located on Bains Road in Canning, Nova Scotia.

The school replaced the high schools of Kings County Academy and Cornwallis District High School.

NKEC's students more often than not come from the Canning, Kentville, and Centreville areas, after attending Kings County Academy, Aldershot Elementary School or Glooscap Elementary School. The school receives most of its competition from schools such as Horton High School, whose students come mainly from the New Minas, Wolfville, Hantsport and Port Williams area, as well Central Kings High School (CK), whose students come mainly from Coldbrook and Cambridge area. The schools are located in Greenwich and Cambridge, respectively.

In 2004 NKEC was ranked 55 in the 7th annual AIMS High School Report Card, with a final grade of C-[1]
