Shane Supple (born May 4, 1987) is an Republic of Ireland professional footballer currently playing for Ipswich Town. He is a goalkeeper and a graduate of Ipswich Town's Youth Academy.

In 2004-05 he helped to lead the Ipswich youth team to victory in the FA Youth Cup. On 13 August 2005 he made his first appearance for the Ipswich first team, when an injury to first-choice goalkeeper Lewis Price forced Supple to play for an hour of the match against Leicester City, a game in which he kept a clean sheet.

He retained the number one spot for Ipswich Town, making many fine saves and looks to be an excellent prospect for many years to come.

In the summer of 2006, Charlton made a few bids for the Republic of Ireland youngster, but Jim Magilton rejected all these offers. Leeds also showed interest but Ipswich informed the public that no bid had been made. He mainly featured among the Ipswich substitutes last season, Magilton preferring Welshman Lewis Price between the sticks.

In the summer of 2007, Lewis Price was sold to Derby County, opening the way for Supple to become first-choice, but then Scottish international Neil Alexander was signed after having been released by Cardiff City at the end of the 2006/2007 season. Alexander has been first-choice in the 2007/2008 season, consigning Supple once again to the bench.

On transfer deadline day 2008, Supple, along with team mate Billy Clarke joined Scottish club Falkirk on loan. Supple was signed due to the injury to Falkirk's first choice goalkeeper Tim Krul.
