Nana is a 1985 Mexican film by Rafael Baledón. It is an adaptation of Emile Zola's novel Nana. Is the film adaptation of a Mexican stageplay produced and starred by Irma Serrano.

Plot

Based in the Emile Zola same name novel. The life of Nana, a french prostitute of the XIX Century. The film includes numerous musical acts performed by Irma Serrano.

Production notes

Adaptation of a polemic stageplay of the 1970's produced and starred by Irma Serrano La Tigresa in her own stage the Teatro Frú Frú. The stageplay caused controversy in Mexico by his representation of nude, erotism and lesbic performances. The film reproduces the original stageplay.
