Nassarius elatus is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Nassariidae, the Nassa mud snails or dog whelks.[1]

The shell size varies between 10 mm and 20 mm

Distribution

This species occurs in European waters along Portugal and in the Atlantic Ocean along Angola
