Sir Nicholas Peter Rathbone Wall (born 14 March 1945) is an English judge. He was appointed President of the Family Division and Head of Family Justice for England and Wales on 13 April 2010.^[1]

Wall was educated at Dulwich College from 1956 to 1963. He was called to the Bar at Grays Inn in 1969 and was made a Bencher in 1993. He took silk in 1988. Wall was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1988 and a Recorder in 1990. He was appointed to the Family Division of the High Court in 1993, receiving the customary knighthood. Wall was a Judge of the Employment Appeal Tribunal (2001–2003) the Administrative Court (2003–2004). He was appointed to the Court of Appeal and the Privy Council in 2004.

Wall was nominated by the appointments panel, headed by Supreme Court President Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, but Justice Secretary Jack Straw asked them to reconsider. The panel once again put Wall forward, and he was subsequently appointed to the position.
