Location

Nijverdal West is a temporary railway station located in Nijverdal, The Netherlands. The station opened on 14 December 2009 and is located on the Zwolle–Almelo railway. The services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen.

To improve road and rail routes between Almelo and Zwolle there will be many works along the line. As a result of this, temporary station Nijverdal West was opened on 14 December 2009 until at least 1 December 2012. During this period, there is no direct service between Zwolle and Almelo. The services operate as Zwolle - Nijverdal West and Nijverdal - Almelo - Enschede, with a shuttle bus between Nijverdal West and Nijverdal.^[1]
