Nils Daulaire is the director of the Office of Global Health Affairs for the United States Department of Health and Human Services, a position he has held since March 22, 2010.

Prior to his appointment he served for over a decade as President and CEO of the Global Health Council where he promoted public health causes in developing countries.

From 1993-1998 he served as senior international health advisor for the U.S. Agency for International Development. He has been the United States' head negotiator in health affairs at international conferences.[1]

Education

Daulaire holds degrees from Harvard College, Harvard Medical School, and the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.[2]
