Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance or NIWA is an affiliation containing wikis concerning Nintendo franchises. The coalition site was founded 14 February 2010 by the users of Bulbapedia, ZeldaWiki, and Super Mario Wiki, and the coalition has grown to 18 different wikis. It was founded with the intention of giving complete control to the editors of the wikis. Each of the wikis is maintained independently of the others.
