"Non ho mai smesso" / "Jamás abandoné" (I never abandoned) is a song recorded by Italian singer Laura Pausini for her studio album Inedito. The song, produced by Paolo Carta and Laura Pausini, was written by Laura Pausini and Niccolò Agliardi. The Spanish translation was made by Badia.

The Spanish-language version of the song is titled "Jamás abandoné" and is the second single from the Spanish-language version of the album, Inédito.

The song was first performed on November 11 2011 at the Piazza del Duomo, Milan, the same day of the release of Inedito, with a gathering of dancers dressed in red.

Videoclip

The videoclip was directed by Gaetano Morbioli^[1], and recorded in July 2011 at Amsterdam, same city as the previous videoclip from Benvenuto.

The video takes part at a athletism track, where, instead of athletes running, women in dresses, that wear running shoes instead of elegant shoes. Then a distinct man, in a elegant suit, crosses a square with a surfing board on his arms. We see a great swimmer ready to dive, with costume, cap and goggles, but instead of being on a trampoline, she leans down from the roof of a house. Laura Pausini appears dressed in red, with a Roberto Cavalli dress, in a camera car situation, tied to a parachute, but not flying, but sat on the floor. Then she leaves on a 1800 ship.

The videoclip was made avaliable with the release of the single on the Corriere della Sera^[2].

The "Making of" of both videoclips were released on Pausini's official YouTube channel, but not on any audio-video support.
