Johnny Hawke is an Australian former rugby league footballer of the 1940s and '50s. An Australian international and New South Wales interstate representative back,[1] he played club football in the ACT as well as in Sydney for St. George,[2] whom he captained and won a premiership with in 1949.

He went on the 1948-49 Kangaroo tour, playing tests against Great Britain and France. He was also appointed captain of New South Wales.
