Nuba (Chinese mythology)

Nǚba (Chinese: 女魃), was an ancient Chinese mythical drought demon.[1] She is reputed to have come to the aid of the Yellow Emperor during his struggle with Chi You at the Battle of Zhuolu. Some sources also refer to her as being the Yellow Emperor's daughter.
