Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed (born February 15, 1966) is a Malaysian politician and is currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Pulai constituency in the State of Johor. He is a member of the United Malay National Organisation (UMNO) party in the governing Barisan Nasional coalition.

Nur Jazlan was elected to federal Parliament in the 2004 election for the UMNO-held seat of Pulai, previously held by Abdul Kadir Annuar.[1] He ran for the Deputy Presidency of UMNO in 2008, citing the need for UMNO to regenerate after the 2008 election, stating "UMNO must realise it is at the crossroads—it's a matter of life and death." His candidacy was described by former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamed as one of a "joker".[2] By the end of October 2008, Nur Jazlan had withdrawn from the race.[3]

Nur Jazlan is married with three children,[4] and is the eldest son of the former Information Minister Mohamed Rahmat.[5] He is a columnist for The Malaysian Insider.[6]
