Ohio University Eastern Campus is a two to four year public university located west of St. Clairsville, Ohio on National Road. The university first opened its doors in 1957 and has served the Ohio River Valley communities for over 50 years.

The campus includes several educational halls, an expansive library, a greenhouse, a fitness center, as well as several learning centers, such as Dysart Woods and the Great Western Schoolhouse.[1]

Wilson Shannon Hall

The most notable building on the campus is the Wilson Shannon Hall, named for Ohio's first native born governor. The large red brick building is three stories tall with white trim boards. The central entrance is covered by a pediment supported by four large Corinthian columns. The hall serves as the administrative suite as well as providing many classrooms, and an auditorium.
