Medal record Men’s Basketball FIBA Americas Championship Gold 2009 San Juan National team Carlos Alexandre Rodrigues do Nascimento, also known as Olivinha or Alexandre (born April 18, 1983 in Brazil) is a Brazilian professional basketball player.
A 6'8" (2.02 m) forward, Olivinha currently plays for Esporte Clube Pinheiros of Novo Basquete Brasil.[1] In the 2009 season, he averaged a team-leading 20.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
He is also a member of the Brazil national basketball team.[2] He made his debut for the senior team at the 2009 Marchand Continental Championship Cup, averaging 3.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game for the team.[3] He also competed for the gold-medal winning Brazilian team at the FIBA Americas Championship 2009, seeing action in four games off the bench for the Brazilians.[4]
