Carnegie 57, also known as One57,[2] is a 75-story skyscraper currently under-construction in New York City.[3][4][5] Upon completion in 2013 it will stand at 306 meters (1005 feet) tall, making it one of the tallest buildings in the city. The mixed use tower is developed by the Extell Development Company. Foundation work started in January 2010. In early 2011 construction reached the 10th floor. As of late August 2011, the progress of the construction reached the 30th floor. The bottom of Carnegie 57 is touching the neighboring buildings due to the limited space of the property.
