"One Emotion" is the title of a song co-written by Clint Black and Hayden Nicholas, and recorded by Black on his 1994 album One Emotion. It was released in July 1995 as the fourth single from the album.

Critical reception

Larry Flick, of Billboard magazine reviewed the song favorably, calling it a "pretty love song laced with steel guitar." He goes on to say "no bells and whistles here, just Black's usually flawless delivery of a solid song."[2]

Music video

The music video was directed by Clint Black himself and premiered in July 1995.

Chart performance

The song spent 20 weeks on Hot Country Songs in 1995, debuting at number 64 on the chart dated for the week ending July 8 and spending two weeks at a peak of #2.[1] In Canada, the song peaked at Number One on the RPM Country Tracks charts dated for the week ending September 18, 1995.[3]
