Oralu kallu

Oralu kallu [ಒರಳು ಕಲ್ಲು] is a kind of grinding machine made of stone. In Kannada oralu [ಒರಳು] means grinding and Kallu [ಕಲ್ಲು] means stone. It is used in parts of India. Rice (or bengal gram or others) can be ground to flour manually between the upper and lower parts of this circular grinding stone.
